Intermediate Program
The Intermediate program serves up to 12 students in a single-family
household setting. Students in the Intermediate program demonstrate the
following characteristics: social difficulties, self-pity, low
self-worth, lack of motivation, and are easily influenced by negative peers, underachieving
academically.
These troubled teens require program-based schooling due to their behaviors and need of additional scholastic attention. Intermediate students are not served in the public school program in Thompson Falls. Our home-based school employs certified teachers and provides individualized educational plans for each student.
In addition to our academic program, students work on their daily therapeutic growth through REBT, Reality Therapy, and for appropriate students, a strong 12 Step modality.
