A Complete Program | Intermediate Program | Residential Program
Summer Program
The summer program extends from June through August and assesses
student’s needs for the upcoming school year. During this time period,
consecutive adventure based therapy expeditions from 10 to 14 days in length are
conducted for a group of up to 12 students. This is a rugged outdoor
adventure program with strong counseling support and group experiences
providing a basis for how to deal with family members and the world as a
whole. The natural environment is an unparalleled teacher, bringing into
perspective the student’s strengths and shortcomings.
Activities include backpacking, river rafting, bicycling, rock climbing, trail work, environmental awareness, individual counseling and small group counseling. At completion of this eight-week program, students deemed appropriate will move into our Intermediate, or our youth Residential program.
